Why connect my PC to my TV?

The role of the TV is to display moving images. Over the years, what has changed frequently, is the method of delivery or, source of these images. A computer monitor is nothing else but a display with no built in receiver! It does however, have a major advantage over our TV - it connects to our computer which in turn, is connected to the internet. The internet is full of (moving images) content - isn't connecting them all together just common sense, especially, as nowadays, in most homes, the TV is the biggest and best available display.
