When selecting a large block of text in Microsoft Word or, any other word processing program and you left click and drag your mouse to select the text, the page scrolls down very fast and therefore, it is very difficult to stop in the right place and only select the text that you require.
|
|
Well in future, don't left click, hold down and drag the cursor over the text, instead, left click and release at the start of the text that you require and then scroll down the page/s to the end of the text and hold down the shift key whilst left clicking the mouse. Hey presto, you have selected the text.

When you want to print a document, starting up Microsoft Word (or similar) and opening the document that you want to print takes some time. Here's a quick way to print any document. Click on the Windows "Start" menu then, click "Printers and Faxes" (if it isn't in the "Start" menu, you will find it in "Control Panel") then, look for your printer icon and right click on it before selecting "create shortcut" - now, you will find a printer shortcut icon on your desktop. Next time you want to print a document, go to the folder where the document is stored and left click on the file, before dragging and dropping it onto the printer icon on your desktop. Hey presto, the document prints and the original file stays in the same place.
